Like all plastic lenses, scratches may occur when dirt, dust or grit are rubbed into the surface. To avoid scratches, rinsing with tap water to gently flush away the dirt particles prior to cleaning is recommended.

Please contact Customer Service at 800-900-3700 ext 2 for further information. We will be happy to assist in determining a solution to the scratches.

Anyway, upon further observation, I seem to have the same problem discussed elsewhere, in which the right lens does not start to refocus immediately when the slider is moved, even though the left lens does.. so it lags behind.

Upshot: they're on their way back to Superfocus who were as nice as could be on the phone, and promise to investigate and report.

I would more than love to have the glasses Diane Keaton advertises however: I am a retired school teacher of 32 years and I can not afford them. I have trouble changing from reading to watching tv. Those who have these are blessed. Jan

I wanted to thank you for replying to my post (Is my face too fat?). I wasn't sure when I wrote it that it would actually get published. I really am heartbroken that these glasses have not worked out for me because they made such a big difference in my life. I am a research scientist in the vaccine development field and I need to work with very small pieces of equipment close up, look at computers at intermediate distances, and be able to see where I am going when I walk down a hallway. Your glasses allowed me to adapt effortlessly to all three environments. I am now using bifocals and they are just not getting the job done. I would be more than willing to be a test subject for any ideas you come up with to fix the leakage problem I have. I thought that a wider distance between the lenses may help as the glasses were always very narrow for my face but I realize that it would be very complicated to custom manufacture that piece as it is the heart of the mechanics for changing the focal distance. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or any ideas on how to get me back into my superfocus glasses.

I have been wearing my new glasses for three days, and mostly wear them all the time. Two things still bug me about them, but overall the positives outweigh.

First, they are too small. Maybe its because they had to have circles, so made the circles small, but I find the loss of peripheral vision when I wear them walking around annoying.

The other issue is that it is hard to adjust them accurately. It takes two or three tries to get the settings right for my displays. (I am a software engineer.)

I hope they are pretty rugged, because I am not a careful person. I have had the lenses fall off numerous times as I walk around. Trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.

On the positive side, I did not even realize that my distant vision was getting blurry. I have noticed a lot more detail in facial features and in Television that I did not know was gone. And I definitely appreciate being able to change focus from monitors to my smart phone easily. I also have adjusted my monitor resolution back up to the maximum now that I can adjust the focus.

My wife is complaining that I should have gotten the silver color, because it looks dorky in black being so small compared to my face. But she will adapt.

So far, Superfocus has been super accommodating with replacements. My concern will be in a few month when the warranty is up.

Currently, I am on my third set of frames due to the leakage problem. I am worried that there is beginning to be loss of focusing power again. Will Superfocus continue to replace frames? The shipping costs back and forth (I am not in the US) are an issue if this keeps going on. What to do?

Is it possible that your ear pieces are the wrong length? Also, the Bauhaus frames are designed for thin faces so this may be a geometry issue. I am now using the Bauhaus frames with only an issue about the nose piece and use of pads -- but an easy adjustment.
