All I can say is Superfocus glasses are expensive and fairly ugly but it seems I can’t live without them!
I bought them for target shooting and they are great if you want to see what your front sight actually looks like. Seriously, if you shoot guns with iron sights you have to have these glasses. I tried many alternatives and nothing works as well as these glasses.
I also use them all the time when working on the computer. It’s amazing to have the whole field of view in focus without the constant head movement. And those neck pains are gone!
So, despite the fact that I sound like a shameless shill, I get no compensation from company. And, if they come up with a way to make them a bit more attractive looking, I’ll definitely be buying another pair.

I JUST RECEIVED MY SUPERFOCUS AJUSTABLE GLASS. THEY ARE SO MUCH MORE THAN I EXPECTED. THEY TAKE A LITTLE GETTING USE TO. I VE ONLY HAD MY FOR THREE DAY AND I THINK THEY ARE GREAT SO FAR. What is the expected life of a pair of your Superfocus glasses?
Jim, the Superfocus frames are high quality stainless steel and should last for years. The focussing mechanism has been tested through 100,00 cycles of adjustment (which we estimate is equivalent to 2 years of use) with no performance degradation.
If your prescription changes significantly, you may want to purchase new prescription lenses, but these can be easily swapped on and off the focussing unit and frame.

I visited a superfocus outlet and tried on some samples. I noticed that the focusing mechanism on all of them felt sticky and not smooth to move and that it required two hands to accomplish a steady focus adjustment. Is that normal?
Is it a good idea to add a drop of a silicone lube to loosen the focus slider?

We are happy to hear of your interest in Superfocus glasses. Newer units require a “breaking in” period. The slider will become smoother with use. There is no need for the user to lubricate.
