Front Lenses

The prescription front lens in your Superfocus glasses contains your personal distance prescription to give you perfect distance vision across the entire lens.

The Superfocus adjustable focusing lens behind the front lens allows you to focus the entire lens to any distance from infinity down to reading distance.

Both the Icon Collection frames and the Leonardo frames allow you to use the same focusing lens with different sets of front prescription lenses.

You may choose any number of clear, Transitions, or tinted prescription front lenses

Many Superfocus customers buy two or more sets of prescription front lenses so they can use their Superfocus glasses indoors and out, rain or shine.

Icon Collection

Icon Collection "Superframes" have the focusing lens built into the frame. Your distance prescription is contained in the separate removable front lenses.

The front lenses snap onto the frame, held firmly in place by a patented system of tiny magnets. It is quick and easy to snap off one set of front lenses and replace them with another.

Extra pairs of front lenses come with a thin Shuttle case that makes swapping lenses quick and easy.

Clear Lenses

Our top-of-the line “Super Clear” lenses with super anti-reflective and anti-smudge (hydrophobic and oliophobic) coatings.

Transitions VI®

Top-of-the-line Transitions brand photochromic lenses in gray or brown. Scratch resistant with super anti-reflective and anti-smudge coatings. Some customers purchase these instead of clear lenses. Others purchase them in addition to their clear lenses.

Tinted Lenses

Top-of-the-line "Super Clear" lenses with super anti-reflective and anti-smudge (hydrophobic and oliophobic) coatings.

Bronze

Green

Bronze
Bronze 14% light transmission. Nearly color neutral with a slight rose tinge to increase contrast and provide a little warmth on bright, overcast days. For most people, the best choice for a single all-round set of sunglass lenses. Often selected by drivers, golfers and tennis players.

Slate
Slate 15% light transmission. Color perception neutral. A darker tint for bright conditions and when color accuracy is important. Not as suitable as bronze for cloudy bright conditions or for occasional wear indoors.

Green
Green. 15% light transmission, reducing eyestrain in very bright sunlight. These lenses are popular with pilots and for many outdoor activities.

Transitions VI®
Transitions® photochromic lenses are nearly clear in artificial light and darken when exposed to UV light (as when outdoors). Since most car windows block UV light, these lenses will not fully darken inside a car. These lenses are available only for prescriptions ranging from –8.00 to + 4.00 diopters of sphere and up to –2.00 diopters of cylinder.

Leonardo Collection

With Leonardo, your distance prescription front lens is held in the handcrafted Italian cellulose acetate frame exactly as it would be with a pair of conventional glasses.

The stainless steel Focus Module snaps into the back of the frame.

You can swap the same Focus Module from frame to frame. So you can use the same Focus Module with any number of frame/front lens combinations. Just detach the Focus Module from one frame and snap it into another.
